| Nærøyfjord is one out of two Norwegian fjords listed under UNESCO heritage list. Bakka Church was founded in 1859 as there was a need for people who wanted to avoid the long boat journey to the Undredal Stave Church. Our project consists of a church and old school house - both painted in traditional linseed oil technique, as well as a tar-treated boat house by the fjord. |
