| As the church will celebrate its 100-year anniversary in 2024, the Church Council opened a bid for its entire restoration. The church has a very interesting construction, with low walls and a big extent of the roof. Its form was mediaeval stave church-influenced with the closest inspiration from Old Hol Kirke. It is the biggest project for our company so far as the church has 500 sitting places inside. Our work consists of the renovation of all wooden parts and the windows. Some wooden parts were rotten and they had to be replaced. The church has not been painted for 20 years and the original deep red “wild vine”colour lost its pigmentation. |
